On New Years Eve we packed up and started the long drive to Utah, fully equipped with a stack of movies sufficient for 12 hours in the car and lots of junk food!
We stopped and stayed in Provo Canyon the first night to stay with my Aunt and Uncle. They have a beautiful new home there with an awesome sledding hill right outside the back door! The kids had a blast for about 45 min and then decided SNOW IS COLD! We are not use to cold:)
The second day we met my mom and sister for lunch and then drove up to Ogden where we stayed 3 more nights. We went to a fun rehearsal dinner/pizza party for my cousin Tara's wedding.
We got to go to Temple Square in Salt Lake the next day to see them get Married! It was such an amazing ceremony and a great reminder of my love for Eddie and our family... made me want to be better! Then there was a beautiful ring ceremony and dinner for close family and friends before the reception.
It was a great family vacation! It was so nice to just be away from all the daily stresses. We had fun building snowmen, having snowball fight, swimming at the hotel and visiting with relatives we don't get to see as much as we would like! (After 3 pictures my battery went dead so I didn't have a camera the rest of the trip! Not my year for picture taking I guess.)
